Small Changes...Big Shifts: Detox So the point of a detox is to get those toxins out of you! The body removes waste through urine, bowel movements, sweat and breathing. So in addition to drinking lots of water, consider the following to draw out the toxins: yoga, walking or other light exercise; breathing exercises or meditation (see Chapter 2 of Wellness on a Shoestring); soaking in an Epsom salt bath; or sitting in an infrared sauna.
