Smaller intimate parties are where I get to see my family of trance fairies and hairy hippies and all the weird and wonderful characters who I cant imagine fitting into any kind of nine-to-five society. Smaller parties mean theres space to stomp and room to breathe and time to lose my friends and find them again, knee deep in mud or covered in glitter or hugging a blow-up dolphin. The people I meet at smaller parties tend to be the ones I want to know long after the music has stopped and the high had faded - youre beautiful souls and youre there for the right reasons. At the last Altered States I ran around giving random backrubs to tired stompers, and I solemnly swear that if I win tickets to this one I will wear a t-shirt saying Free massages and you may find me and stand in line for one :D
