Snake Bite!!! Last night Leisl Born from Little Mountain near Caloundra reached around the corner of her house in the dark to turn off her tap. She got more than just a fright. She was bitten on her wrist. She did not see what it was and rushed inside to tell her husband. He was like Oh Yer big deal wen she yelled out she was bitten by something as he was expecting that it was an insect or something but when he saw his wifes wrist he realised she had been bitten by a snake. He rushed outside with a torch and found the snake still sitting in the same place. They thought it was a carpet python but I was sent a photo so they could be 100%. When I went out to remove the snake he was in food mode and was going at any movement (like my hands) as he was waiting for a rat or alike to constrict and have for dinner. Once I had it in my hands it settled straight down. Poor Leisl was just a little unlucky but will live to fight another day as Carpet Pythons are not venomous.
