~* Snap Update *~ Vet visit today!! Snap has been placing weight on the crooked leg for about 10 days now. He is such an agile little man despite his impediment. We have a mutual agreement that if he gets up onto something (lounge, chair, step ... there is no holding him back!!) he is to call me to get him down ...NO jumping on injured legs ;-) Clever little man that he is, he has developed a specific whine that means he needs assistance. Peter, our lovely vet, has declared Wednesday to be the day to operate on both legs to remove the wires, pins & plates. At this point of time, one leg still has an opening where you can see the wire. This is because Snaps little legs are so fine there really is not a great deal of room for all the extra metal components. I, for one, will be very pleased to see it all gone, although I am anxious that this little one need go through yet another surgery. Please send good vibes to Snap for Wednesday. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the kind and generous people who so far have supported Snap by donating to his vet work fund. He doesnt understand the love sent his way, but we at Nova do and can only be grateful on his behalf. Here is Snap today post, vet examination, ready & eager to go home
