Snatch the Pebble SOD: And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand. My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all [else]; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are One. (John 10:28 - 30 AMP) "A very small degree of hope is sufficient to cause the birth of love" ~ Stendhal (French Writer 1783 - 1842) For those of us who believe and trust and rely on Jesus Christ we are like pebbles in His pouch; but not just ordinary pebbles. He knows each and every one of us individually. How smooth, how round, how, jagged, how rough, how blemished and tarnished yet beautiful and purposeful we are. When I think of the above scripture it reminds me of an old television show called Kung Fu. The wise old and aged master would hold a pebble in his hand and challenge the young student aka young grasshopper to snatch the pebble from his hand. If the student were ever able to snatch the pebble it would be a sign that the student was ready to leave the training of his instructor and go out into the world on his own. I could imagine this same type of battle going on between Christ and Satan. Christ opens his hand and Satan attempts a grab for us but Christ powered by the hand of God is so fast that his hands close before Satan ever even touches his fingers. Time and time again this goes on. Satan has this false hope that one day he will have us but according to scripture no one is able for the Father is greater and mightier than all! There may be days that you feel alone. There may be days that you feel abandoned. There may be times that you are fatigued and weak and weary of the world. But understand your pebble of life means a lot to The Lord. He is holding you, wrapping you up tightly in his love and to add blessing to blessing his hand is wrapped tightly in the hand of the Father and nothing or no one not even ourselves can separate us from him! There will be no snatching yesterday, today, or forevermore! Heavenly Father, I find comfort in your grasp. Squeeze me tightly Lord so that I may know your presence. In you I have no fear. My faith and my trust is in you and you alone and I am thankful to be yours in Jesus name. AMEN Thank you for taking the time. I hope that you are blessed and encouraged by the words. Sincerely and with love, Bro Ben ONE Church - A Ministry Without Walls
