Sneak peak of Taming Kade Chapter 3: Coach Wavers should not be man handling a student like this! Isn’t this illegal in all fifty states?! The smell of axe filled my nose and I suddenly took in the figure that still had me draped over his shoulder. Coach Wavers was not wearing a black t-shirt and did not have tattoos all down his left arm, nor did he smell like axe. I always got sort of the hoagie smell from Coach Wavers, not this deliciousness. “Put me down!” I commanded as I saw that we had entered the hallway outside the gym. The mysterious figure suddenly came to an abrupt halt and set me on the ground. “This is considered kid-,” I stopped mid-sentence when my eyes locked with my kidnapper’s icy blue eyes. Whoa, those were some cool eyes. I had always wished I had gorgeous eyes like his but mine had always been a plain boring brown since the day I came out of my mother’s…well you know. “-napping,” I finished, almost in a hushed whisper. His eyes were holding me captive and it was the weirdest thing to experience. I, of all people, did not like being held captive by anything. “Well we wouldn’t want you get expelled on your first day of school,” he smirked, patting my head, “I find your short temper amusing and I’d like you to stick around for at least another week or two.” “Did you witness all of that?” I asked curiously. He wiped his messy brown hair away from his icy eyes and nodded, a smirk still plastered onto that attractive face of his. Oh how I’d love to just smack that smirk right off. “You know I usually dread gym class and don’t show up, but I’m pretty glad I bothered to come this one time because I got some free entertainment. You’re Elise Collins am I right? Your name has been spreading through this school like wildfire. So is it true that you came from a foster home in Paris?” I blinked a few times, confused on what he was asking me, “I came with my family from New York?” I said, although it sounded more like a question rather than a statement. He chuckled and stuffed his hands in his pockets. “That’s exactly why you can’t believe everything you hear from people around here, they all have the wildest imaginations. Believe me, I’d know. Although there is one thing they got right,” he smirked cockily again, “You are as hot as everyone says.”
