Snow will end from west to east across the area this afternoon. Roads are mostly covered in snow. Use extreme caution traveling. Northwest winds will be around 5-15 mph with a few gusts to 20 today. There may be areas of blowing snow/drifting this afternoon so continue to use caution traveling throughout the day. Highs today will be in the 20s. Winds will diminish tonight as a high tracks into Iowa. Lows will drop to the negative single digits with wind chills reaching as low as -25. It will be mostly sunny Sunday with highs only in the single digits. Winds will remain light from the west Sunday at 5-10 mph. Our next storm system will track in Tuesday into Wednesday. It is too early to nail down snow totals but some accumulating snow appears likely. Highs again only in the single digits Wednesday to Friday with another snow producing system expected Saturday.
