Snowdrift Cider Company just dropped off some fresh ciders for us, including their award winning Winter Red Methode Champenoise. The apples used are only a couple generations removed from its native ancestors in the hills of Kazakhstan. Its brilliant red flesh yields crimson red cider with bright acidity, packed with flavors of cranberries, watermelon, rhubarb, strawberries, kumquat and lime. In-bottle maturation in the methode Champenoise completes it with a delightful sparkle and additional layers of complexity.
