Snowfall Warning Issued at Friday, November 1, 2013 at 9:45 PM Heavy snow this weekend. A low pressure system off the Pacific coast is set to move into Alberta on Saturday bringing heavy snow to the central and southern parts of the province. Snow will start along the Rockies on Saturday morning and spread eastward throughout the day and continue into Sunday. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 centimetres are expected with locally higher amounts possible. There is still some uncertainty with the track of the system at this time. As such warned areas may be adjusted as the low nears.
