Snowy Owls have been in the news a lot lately, with the increase of sightings, being hit on the road, and now with the story on how 9 were shot at the Gerald R. Ford Airport. Blandford staff understand the need for flight safety and hope that airports around the world will try to use no kill methods for controlling wildlife whenever possible. At Blandford Nature Center, we know that wildlife help to connect people to nature, and if people dont care about nature, they wont try to protect it.
