Snowy Sunday Greetings! Yes, you read it right, despite the date we are get another dose of snow today. Nothing that will require a shovel, which is good because I for one am getting close to the end of my rope regarding the season and its conditions. I was down in Peoria last week where we experienced a 56 degree day and it felt like summer had arrived. Todays image was captured at one of the high-end car shows where you wont find any customs, hot rods or clean Mustangs, only the best of the best. I believe this wheel detail was taken of a vintage Porsche but may have been a Jaguar D-Type, either of which are rare classics with racing heritage. The coming week will find me mostly at the keyboard putting the finishing touches on calendar images and preparing the text that will accompany the images selected. IF the photo gods are amenable to it, I may travel to E. Moline to capture a few more motorcycles for use on the same calendar. Of course the calendar in question is the MOTORCYCLE CLASSICS 2015 which has been published for decades by the fine folks at Paul Oxman Publishing pauloxmanpublishing You will find a great selection of printed products on their site all of which are aimed at the transportation market and make worthy additions to any fan of all things wheeled. Beyond that the weather will restrain any outdoor imaging attempts, but I hold out hope for a Spring season that arrives before August. A guy can dream...
