So 18 years ago today, I married my soulmate, Deborah... I heard her voice sing in january of 95 and fell in love immediately... I knew she was the one... we actually met in mid february of 95 and talked all night in the parking lot of the Totem Pole Restaurant in vancouver, WA... I proposed to her 2 months later on Easter sunday 95... we were married superbowl weekend January 27th, 1996 during the freak snow and ice storm of the century. Sidenote to men- to make it easier to remember anniversaries etc, make them on holidays or big events. Proposed? Easter Sunday... married? superbowl weekend. Unfortunately superbowl weekend changes every year (now I figure that out) but the ramp up to superbowl weekend lets me know our anniversary is coming. anyways, 9 months later, Cody was born. It was a very GOOD honeymoon. so we celebrate january 27th as our wedding anniversary and our first meeting anniversary. I have been blessed to wake up to my beautiful bride for 19 years. How you have not killed me in my sleep up to this point, I will never know, but I do appreciate your daily stay of execution. I knew the minute I heard your voice that you were the one to complete me and I thank God that I found the courage to go back to that restaurant weeks later to actually introduce myself to you.
