So 2014 was a long old year, lots of bad stuff, lots of good. Tons of musicians died and left us. The restaurant was good, we survived another year. My wee girls both grew and are more beautiful than ever. Emma has been amazing and had the IAB cafe flying. We got a lovely new dog called snoopy. Lots of people went back to the uk, lots of new people arrived a new. Ive made a couple of amazing ,close ,lovely new friends and Jiujitsu is still at the forefront of my life along with my music. So I think on balance, bearing in mind most of us are all healthy, happy and maybe a wee bit skint that 2014 was a not so bad year. Over all though the absolute best thing that happened for me was that I discovered Louis CK, Ive never laughed so much in my life…I love him. So my new years resolution is to laugh more, everyday, and to encourage everybody else to do the same…music and laughter are what make the world go round.
