So Adrian Peterson has a criminal case pending because he gave his son an old fashion whopping with a switch. This right here is one of the reasons that Im glad that I dont have any kids. The whoppings that I got as a child helped keep me out of trouble as I got older. I applaud A.P. for disciplining his child and wish more parents would do the same. But in this society that we find ourselves living in will probably have this father face possible jail time and may cost him his career for no other reason than doing what every parent should do, and that is discipline their child. What the hell is a time out anyway? Do you think when your child grows up that the police or justice system will put them on time out when they break a law or something? No, they wont be put on time out, but instead will have to do time if they dont get killed first. Come America its time to wake up and start raising our children the way that our parents, grandparents or whoever raised you did.
