So Amazon EC2 downgrades my FREE TIER instance to 4.0 and doesnt think to tell me. For at least an hour Im redeploying the application targeting 4.5 and keep getting Application Pool deployment errors. I leave a head-shaped hole in the wall before realising what theyve done (the complete feckers - although I know Im not paying for it so I probably deserve the odd kick in the proverbials). I edit the web.config file and project properties to reflect the 4.0 target and presto!!! Next time Amazon - do the decent thing!
