So.. As you all know, I put my heart and soul in to bringing the best hip-hop possible not to just Albuquerque, but nation wide. I do this for the culture, the scene, the music but there are always situations that makes any promoter/agent discouraged in the business. A few weeks ago, I had People Under The Stairs cancel on me due to one members wife was in an accident, due to that, Afro Classics decided to not do the show then Lyrics Born fell apart so one great show down. Then last night, I get an email about the most exciting show for me, Biz Markie.. The whole tour has been canceled (see below). It is extremely upsetting to me for two great shows to cancel withing a short time. Please dont hold me or Ghetto Gentlemen liable for any disappointed feelings. If you bought pre-sale tickets to Biz Markie, please go back to the point of purchase for full refunds. Hi Manuel, Unfortunately, Biz Markies 25th Anniversary tour has been postponed indefinitely due to the lackluster ticket sales, and zero buzz across the country. Yo Gabba Gabba, one of Biz primary focuses for the last 5 years, has also since come in and scheduled a 30 date fall tour of the popular childrens show, which Biz has decided to take. Weve been trying to work this out on the phone for the last few days, but Biz has made his decision. Looking at the ticket sales, maybe its for the best, meaning we dont have a failed ugly tour for everyone involved. We will always look to offer a similar replacement to fill the date, and have been able to confirm Coolio to do all dates on the tour, pending your interest. Coolio has the biggest No.1 selling Rap Single of all time with Gangstas Paradise and is a fantastic performer that sells ticket across the country.
