So Cambrias eye glasses prescription is perfect, she just got so used to straining her eyes and she needs to learn to relax them otherwise the glasses will stay blurry. And she needs to keep them on as much as possible!! The ophthalmologist said Asher does NOT have peripheral vision and theres nothing that can be done about it, he just needs to learn to slow down and look around, although it could cause problems when hes older. He said that the developmental specialist shouldnt have said anything about his eyesight because she isnt an eye specialist and only knows the minimum, he also said he doesnt think he has adhd because if hes able to cooperate in appointments and sit still then he doesnt have a problem, hes just a 2 year old. He also said that with everything going on with his eyes he no longer thinks the problems Asher is having is developmental but strictly visual. We see the ophthalmologist again November 17th for both kids. The rest of the week is free!:) and back at it next week! The 13th we meet with the head and neck surgeon for his yearly check up for his hearing. The 15th we meet with the psychiatrist for his mental health evaluation, to find out what PTSD therapies he needs and to set up parenting classes for parenting a child with medical PTSD.
