So, Collin is moved in and Gregg and I are back home. We decided it is not any easier the second time around. I want to be perfectly clear that we are beyond excited for Collin and we know he is so ready and will do so well. However, we must go through the emotion of the transition. I am so grateful for every ounce of it today. Im thankful for the flood of emotion that this day brought and I wouldnt want to bypass it. Im so proud of Collin Jackson. I love him more than words can express (like all moms do their children). Im glad that my heart aches and is excited all at the same time. Someone wrote mixed emotions. Wow! Is that ever true. I also love how friends who have been where we are, look at me and tears well up in their eyes. They dont need to say a word. Their expression says it all. A silent understanding. Thank you to all of you who have reached out. I love you son! I miss you already, but I cant wait to watch the journey of the next four years!
