So. Enders Game. The movie felt rushed. The central premise rings false on any level beyond the most barest of thematic levels. I only engaged with Ender himself, but even him I had a hard time buying his arc and many of his choices. The dominance of video games in society makes this the best time for this story to be adapted. Agree or disagree with the politics of the story, I cant deny that now is the best time for this story to be told even if ultimately it turned out not to be a story worth telling. Disappointing. Oh well.
