So Facebook update for friends and family regarding Shawns appointments. They are all over with now and we have learned the following. In the next three months we have make one trip for an MRI this is just to see the bump on the side of his nose. When the results come in Shawn will be going back again for surgery to remove the bump. They will correct the muscle tissue on the roof of his mouth (close a small hole) then they will work on his soft pallet as it does not function like ours would. For example certain sounds we make, our pallet will close naturally. Shawn uses the back of his tounge to replicate the same sound as best he can. This will all take place in the next three months . Thats all for now as Im in Dennys getting a bite to eat.
