So I always tell my husnand, Don Mcchristian to try something different when it comes to choosing restaurants. So as we are spending quality time together today because he cant get off for our 13th anniversary on tomorrow, he ask me to Google this restaurant someone posted on Facebook. So me being the great wife and co-pilot that I am, I do just that. Well I thought it was all good. We are in what seems to be an affluent neighborhood with nice homes and clean streets so I am all in. Then we reach our destination. OMG, lock the doors and do a drive by in the drive through. It was a you buy, we fry gig. Dead fish all around. I must admit the surroundings in the shopping strip looked suspect and the business patrons did too; however, I decided to be a good sport and play along. Besides, I had already told him, if the food aint good, Timmy Chan chicken wings will see me. As we awaited our food, I began to read the to go menu. They serve, CRACK SAUCE! WTH. We are really in the hood. No worries cause he has a CHL (Concealed handgun license) and he can use it. We got our food and left. To my surprise, the food we excellent! Flavor, presentation and quantity. Moral of the story: Never judge a book by the cover and never fault my husband for taking me in to the hood. The place was HOOD, but the food was GOOD! #BROWNIEPOINTS
