So I always write "check id" on the backs of my credit card and debit card instead of signing my name and lo and behold today I ran into my first idiotic CSR who tried to confiscate my card because the signature did not match the name. The manager had to get involved and I had to stand there and shake my head when the manager had to explain to the kid that "check id" was not a name but a prompt to check my id to make sure the card belonged to the cardholder.
