So I am only posting this video because it may help someone else some day. This is Monica when she had her seizure. I had never seen a dog have a seizure before, I would have never known that is what she is doing in this video. She had been playing for about an hour with the other puppies like normal, then started doing this. At first we thought it was funny...like she was just playing & being a weirdo. So I took this video. Obviously I would have never just stood there & recorded her if I had known she was having a seizure! But anyway...it was about 2 minutes after this that she peed, pooped & literally went stiff & was paralyzed in my living room floor. Her tongue was sticking out & she had a distant look in her eyes & she was moaning the whole time, but was completely unresponsive. I had NO idea what was wrong with her, I just knew she was about to die in my arms right then & there. We rushed her to the vet & she is going to be ok now...she had such an extreme infestation of hookworms that it caused her to do this. That is why we are now re-worming every dog on my property over the next 5 days. So I just want people to see what Monicas seizure looked like...I dont know if this is normal?? Like I said, Ive never seen a dog seizure before! But please let this be a warning to EVERYONE how DANGEROUS parasites & worms can be!!! It is so cheap to worm your pets...and it could save them from going through this. P.S. no need to comment on my video voice. I already know. I talk baby talk to my dogs. I get it. Moving on...
