So, I am scheduled to go before Council tonight, as I had asked for Free Parking for Thursday and Friday for Sidewalk Days. I have heard some pros and cons from Local Businesses regarding this, (more cons than pros) as some say that it will be misued by the downtown businesses as it is at Christmas Time Free Parking, instead of for patrons as it should be. I will personally call each downtown business and ask that they do not use this opportunity for themselves, as it would be an abuse of our hard work, and not allow people to shop and enjoy Sidewalk Days as intended, if we get the approval. What are your thoughts, as I would really like to have some pros and cons for tonight?
