So I can say that I finally completed a recent Anime series! Senki Zesshou Symphogear (Swan Song of the Valkyries: Symphogear), which came out in 2012! I will watch just about anything that involves a plot about music, so when a friend brought to my attention this Anime where people fight with weaponry activated by song, I HAD to watch. The plot probably sounds silly to some people and maybe somewhat recycled (Macross)...but music is such an integral part of who I am and I am a firm believer in it having the ability to not just entertain, but to heal and to truly save people. If this series is ever brought to the US, I will definitely buy the box set. Aside from the fact that this show has great music (vocals and BGMs), it has some amazing lead seiyuu: Mizuki Nana and Yuuki Aoi. I just started watching the 2nd series, Symphogear G, which came out July of this year. I was excited to discover that Hikasa Yoko and Horie Yui lent their voices to it.
