So I canceled my cable today. My first call I got a really sweet young lady who was unable to cancel my service so she transferred me. I was mysteriously disconnected. I called back and got a cougar out in Arizona. OKC was out of her region so she transferred me to someone who could help. I was connected to what sounded like an older woman speaking Spanish. No habla Espanol, I said. Una momenta, she replied. Next up was Wanetta who obviously hated life as much as I hated the absurdity of the Cox Cable cancellation process. I was once again in the wrong department. Wanetta transferred me to an empathetic young man out in Virginia. Unfortunately, he also lacked the capacity to fulfill my request. So he passed me on to... Mike. Sixth times a charm.
