So I completely meant to post this earlier but forgot. My doctor appointment went well today. The doctor thinks its Helicobacter pylori, a bacteria that penetrates the lining of the stomach causing over production of stomach acid, causing stomach inflammation, heartburn, nausea, etc... He gave me a prescription to a Proton Pump Inhibitor, which will prevent my stomach from producing too much acid. He also took a blood sample to test for H. pylori. If it is, I get a week long treatmeant of PPIs and two different antibiotics. If the blood test is negative, I get to see if I need a lifelong PPI prescription.
