So I confess I havent paid much attention to the NYPD choking - TopicsExpress

So I confess I havent paid much attention to the NYPD choking case. I watched the smoking gun video below that everyone says is evidence that he was choked to death. I put a watch to it. The guy was in a choke hold for 16 seconds. Immediately after being released from the choke hold, he can be clearly heard saying I cant breath, which anyone with any emergency medical knowledge knows, means he can breath. You see to speak it requires air moving over the vocal chords. I think its also important to note that the officers can clearly be heard saying OK, hes down, and the choke hold was released moments later. Not included in the video is the timeline of when EMTs were called, or what measures the officers were taking once he passed out (presumably in the moments following the last words we hear, but hard to tell since the videographer/commentator stepped back). It is another case where a body camera could prove a lot. Would it stop people from rioting and burning down their neighborhoods protecting thugs? I doubt it. This post is not so much about what happened, but the irresponsible press that still calls this a choking death at police hands. The man died of cardiac arrest, and had he not resisted, he would be alive today (unless the Twinkies caught up with him). https://youtube/watch?v=pvATEjsf41g
