So I did this the second to last night of camp... And I found it just now so Ill just type it here, NEW ENGLAND MUSIC CAMP. Your NEMC summers could be your best or worst But there always is magic whether its second session or first. Memories here start by waking up to new faces Some of them are from many different places. As awkward, scary, or how much it fills you with strife By the end of the summer Nemc is a part of your life. Classes with friends doing what you love Making music all day with the sun shining above. Breakfast lunch and dinner always start with grace Then kids sit down and reach quickly to see who will win the race. Rest hour in the cabins can get kind of crazy unless your the person who says ugh Im too lazy In the water or on the rec fields for 2 hours You get pretty gross and really need a shower. Evening activities happen each night Sometimes at recitals you say they did all right The weeks go on as it comes to an end You look back and realize youve made many friends. Final camp fire arrives everyones face full with years nobody is ready to let go of their peers. Nemc makes you laugh, cry, happy, sad from the start But for me, NEMC takes up a huge place in my heart. -Ava Kelly I hope you people like that, cause it just made me tear up a little bit
