So I discovered a stray $5 bill in my wallet a few minutes ago and quickly determined that my 6-year-old had slipped me the $5 bill that the tooth fairy had left for him last night after losing his first tooth. Apparently, he had picked my wallet up and observed that there was no cash in it. When I questioned his reasoning behind placing his $5 bill into my wallet, he stated with an innocently concerned look on his sweet face that he was afraid I had run out of money and wanted me to have his. What a neat guy. Yes, of course, I gave it back to him. ☺️
