So I dont know if anyone could help me on this but my buddy ran away and got picked up by this guy. The guy called me on my old cell number, which I didnt have in my possession until 10 days later. When my sister realized there were missed called I was finally able to listen to his messages. When I did immediately called him and left messages. He finally called me that night and had explained that he had two other dogs and tried to care for my as long as he could. He said he found a person who was looking to get a dog and instead handed him over to him. He told me that once he saw the guy at work he would tell him that he needed to give the dog back because the owner has been found. That was last Thursday. Ive been calling and calling to see where hes at but no answer. Ive left a couple of desperate voice messages telling him I needed to know what was up. Before all this happened, I went online to see what it said if your dog was lost, found and then adopted. According to my sources, its illegal to give a random person another persons dog. It is not illegal when it is done through an organization since they have made attempts to contact the owner. I dont have any information where the guy lives and I only have his number. I have documents of my little buddy saying hes under my name. Im really really am starting to loose it and thinking about calling the cops but how can I? I dont even know where this guy lives?! I need advice! 😢
