So...I dont normally post too much of our personal life on here, but..we need prayers for our middle son, Tyler. He has what we were led to believe was an infected saliva gland under the point of his chin. It didnt respond to the medication, in fact, it got larger, and another became noitceable on the right side under his jaw, then another on the left. We felt of them and assummed it was 3, it is not, it is 5 (2 on each side measuring 1cm and the one in the middle measuring 1.5 cm)We have since found out that they are not as likely to be saliva glands but instead lymph nodes. He has had lots of tests ran and they all have come back normal or negative. He was told after his last round of test that he could return to the football team (and he did) but that the chin strap would very likely cause the one under his chin to hurt. It did just that, he has ran a low grade fever all weekend (off and on) and it is more tender to the touch than before. So, we go back in the morning to discuss what the options are now.
