So I feel like being sappy again here, but whateva. Im super grateful for the friends Ive made here in the last few months. Not only have you guys been really cool about including me in stuff, but I actually feel like i belong and people like me for me. For a long time I was just trying to get myself on solid footing, trying to find acceptance. I found myself in a group of friends where I didnt feel like I really fit in, or was really valued for me as a person. I was constantly getting confronted for doing this or that wrong, friendship interventions became the norm and I was grateful for them despite being something that caused me nothing but anxiety as i try to fit into others view of who Im supposed to be. It feels like Ive finally got this awesome group of people who likes me for me though, its not this constant up hill battle, its just me among peers, and even as the new guy it doesnt bug me because I dont feel like the outsider anymore. Im legit super happy to have met all you guys. Nerdy people like me, who get me and make me really feel at home and happy to have moved to San Jose. I hope to be as good a friend to you guys as you have for me! /end sap/
