So I felt like posting now since I have had several flights with changes made... Started out with my 350 qx (V2) and instead of wrapping my GoPro Hero 3+ Black with the copper tape, I did the inside of the body and relocated the GPS sensor and antenna to the V1 locations and had minimal if any real radio or interference issues. After hearing several complaints about the potential of radio TX interference due to the interior copper tape job , I decided to try it the way HH suggests, and wrap the camera. I stripped all tape out of the body, wrapped my camera, and tested everything out with several flights. First off, my GPS lock came in at 30-40 seconds like clockwork with the interior taped, and the time was pretty damn close to the same with the camera wrapped instead. So that is a wash... Next up, Radio interference...Ya, not so much with the interior wrapped. The stock way had more glitches and odd behavior than having things moved around and wrapped inside. To be honest, I was quite surprised. Today, 3 different times, my copter decided to aggressively dive on me in safe mode, came down for a couple hearty slams. My gopro filter has the nice battle scars from the solid slams to the concrete I had no say so in happening. I think when I yank the top off and try to repair the cracks in the upper body, and remove all the gouges from the outer housings of the motors where the body simply rubbing on them, I will re apply the copper tape treatment to the interior of the quad and go back to what had less interference. Just thought I would post up what worked for me regardless of claims, and see if it wont better my flights
