So I finally decided to renew my aging Rampage IV board, the lack - TopicsExpress

So I finally decided to renew my aging Rampage IV board, the lack of sata 3s was really starting to hurt, and as the Haswell-e is simply out of my price range, after an eternity of shortlisting and weighing pros and cons, I finally decided on a gigabyte.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4969#ov I would of liked an M.2 drive, but has an express sata3 which will suffice for the boot drive. And no longer being in the I7 club, I went for the I5 4690K, ark.intel/products/80811/Intel-Core-i5-4690K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_90-GHz, being fully unlocked for OC madness, add in Intels cpu OC insurance and its a very nice cpu. Added in a 3rd SSD, faster and slightly smaller 128gb to free up the current 250 OS drive, pccasegear/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=210_902_1370&products_id=28696&zenid=bde6364b7102baa55c4b7b7f0457d07a And if it wasnt currently 32C out here, itd be a near silent PC. Still have to resolve the GPUs, but I am holding off until NVidia announces either its 990GTX or Titan whatever, will initially be a single card, but the board supports dual x16 so sometime in the future....
