So, I finally did it. Moved to Zagreb. After more than 6 months of trying, 1 aborted attempt (thwarted by 8 recurrences of severe conjunctivitis and a really strange inability on my part to leave the old house in Slovenia), I did it. Im here in my beautiful big apartment in the centre of Zagreb, and it feels good. It feels like... home. I havent felt at home in a really, really long time. And I want to just share a cool thing. As life has started flowing again for me lately, there have been some sweet Synchronicities happening (always a sure sign that life and Life, self and Self, are in alignment). I was trying all weekend to finally leave that old house and come here, but I needed to clean the kitchen first. And every time I went into the kitchen I just couldnt do it - I literally couldnt pick up a single thing to clean. My arms werent obeying my mind. So I just put it off for a few more days... And then I woke up Sunday morning and felt different. It was time. And I put on some random uplifting dance music a la You Tube to clean to... and the lyrics of the first song (I kid you not): Another day slips away, escapes, disintegrates You would have thought by now I would have somehow left this house and ventured out But I wanted to stay. Thank you Life, and hello there. Its been a while, but I think Im ready to live you again.
