So I find myself at the Scottish Labour party Burns Supper on Friday night. A little ironic as my politics are a tiny bit more right wing than that. I am with the Dandara guys and I am streaming the ManU game on my phone and trying not to be too obvious as we all hand it round to check the score. This guy comes over to the table and asks what the score is and I tell him it is 0-0 and they are playing crap. He says he thought it was maybe the Aberdeen game and I tell him I cant find a streaming channel for it. He says he doesnt really care as he is a Celtic fan. What! says me, and I proceed to give the guy a total ribbing about how rubbish they are this year, all that money, big stadium, loads of fans and they are still not going to beat Aberdeen this year. Yada yada (I had had a few glasses of wine). Anyway, I presumed he was some party politico minion who was going to try to sell me a raffle ticket or something. Until 30 minute later when he stood up to speak and was announced as Jim Murphy, the leader of the Scottish Labour party! Oops :)
