So, I forgot about this little gem from Sunday at Hayling fun fair, however it goes as follows. An older gentleman was wheeling his, I assume, wife around in a wheel chair, when they go in to the chip shop, he orders a large cod and chips, he then sits down with his wife and shares the meal, they eat chips and talk about sea gulls and old times, I then notice that they are picking the batter off the cod, eating it and leaving the fish???? After all the chips have gone and the batter devoured, they wrap the whole piece of fish up in the paper and chuck it away, then the wife says, and I quote. You cant beat fish and chips by the sea. Aarrgggghhhhh!!!! You didnt have fish and chips by the sea! You payed £5.50 for chips and scraps!!! Just thought Id share with ya.
