So, I get a telephone call from my Family Doctors Receptionist. She says that Dr. Chaudhari saw that I havent had a mammogram for quite some time or a pap test and want me to go in to see him. So, I guess business must be slow that he calls me in. I go in and OMFG....I had the pap test done, ears, nose, weight, height, vitals done. THEN, requisiton for mammogram and xray for my Rightt Hip (its been very painful for awhile now but more constant. I thought bursitis). Also, a requisition for an ultrasound for my thyroid and Right Hip. Requisiton for blood work and urine test. Did those same day as well. Just knew it was coming so I didnt eat or drink. I thought the torture would be over in one day. HELL NO.....I did mammogram one day, the next day xray to Hip. THEN a call back to the Drs to review some test results. (That man is starting to bother me) We review that all blood work and urine is fine. BUT, he has be booked to see a Respirologist. That is Feb 2015. The Respirologist wants me early to have a chest xray and EKG. (Oh please shoot me now). So, its all over....NOTTA. Hospital calls from the Breast Screening area. The radiologist wants me back to do another mammogram AND an ultrasound. (Thats it. Im dying) Go back and have that done. (Dignity is out the door for the 2nd time since I gave birth 22 yrs ago). Result, Radiologist says Im good to go. Sooooo, things are looking up. CRAP NO, my Doctors Receptionist calls. He wants to review more test results. (I now know, I dont own my body any more. It belongs to him). I go back to see him and thinking this is it. Were done? Guess what?! No. Mammogram results are good but they want me back in 6mths to redo my Right Breast again. Theyre keeping an eye on something. (Hmmm.....I saw the ultrasound when she left the room to see the Radiologist. Hmmmm.....fibroids is what Im thinking) Im starring at HIM. THEN he says, you have a few more lumps on your thyroid so I want you to see Dr. Cha again. I keep starring at HIM and think, Yup. Just like a garage. Take the car in to get a tune up, and it turns out to be a junker that needs a lot of repairs. My life is over as I know it. Lesson?....Dont answer the telephone.
