So I get my car back from the mechanic finally, get about halfway home and it stalls out again. I pull it over to the side and start it back up no problem drive about 10 feet and it stalls again. So I start it up and gun the engine a few times, power steering belt comes off. Now I dont have any of my tools in the car so my only option is to cut the power steering belt off. Start it up and drive all the way home no stutter no stall, just a little hard to turn. So my question for my car guys out there is, is it really possible that my power steering pump would make my car stall out? And why? And obviously I need a new pump Im guessing, where can I get one relatively inexpensive for a Chevy 350 custom Monte Carlo ss?
