So I got an alignment after I replaced the front two coilovers - TopicsExpress

So I got an alignment after I replaced the front two coilovers under warranty. Before this the steering wheel was straight and what not. After the alignment, my steering is slightly positioned to the left when Im going straight. I have to hold it turned or itll pull right. If I fix the steering wheel straight, the car pulls a lot to the right. The alignment tech at Les Schwab said there wasnt enough thread on my tie rod on the passenger side. But if thats the case then how did they do my alignment last year without the steering wheel being all jacked up? My car isnt that low, theres at least one finger gap. And they have my camber up front at -1 to reach the tie rod. He said if he positioned the steering wheel straight, the tie rod wouldnt reach my tie rod end on the passenger side and the toe would be -2.XX So what he did was positioned the steering wheel so it was turned to the left a little, did the alignment, and I got charged an additional $40 for him to go under the floorboard and pull out the steering column? from the rack to center it, but as you can see its still not centered and it really bothers me when Im driving. I know Les Schwab has a 30day warranty on their alignments Would buying extended tie rod ends solve this? I have no clue if the steering rack is jacked up.
