So I got my Warrior level Gladius in 12 watt weathered with Brown - TopicsExpress

So I got my Warrior level Gladius in 12 watt weathered with Brown leather. I plan on doing a full video review. My first impression of the hilt was wow, I get it now, I understand the buzz It just feels right... I own 4 Ultrasabers and the hilt puts them all to shame in looks, feel and balance. Saberforge gave me a blade plug, charger, hex key, instructions and a cool Saberforge Metal bottle thing which was cool. First impressions of blade were wow this is not a mid grade blade, thick and different in look with the pointed tip. First impression with blade in. At first I was a little disappointed, the yellow just didnt seem that bright too me. So I compared it to my US Emerald with a white midgrade- yeah the brightness is on par with a 10 watt all blown out blue. So, I figured lets compare the yellow... I quickly tuned a yellow on my Emerald and compared ... The US and SF were about the same until I swapped blades and I noticed the distinct difference, SF yellow way brighter. Color Mixing- The Infinity blade definitely improved the mixing on my US DSI but the color mixing was top notch on my SF Gladius- slight green in one area but after a few swings it is completely yellow from base to tip. The color itself to my eyes is a PERFECT yellow. It is exactly what I consider a proper yellow and mixed yellow. It is brighter at the base than it is at the tip but the infinity blade makes up by shining light to the tip completely. This thing is exactly how I have pictured my saber. I have written short stories for a character and this saber completely matches it ...
