So I guess that Xbox Live and PSN are both down today allegedly due to some hacker group called Lizard Squad. Theyve posted messages about doing it since last week and Ive seen a lot of people actually getting mad at Sony and Microsoft over putting out a paid product that is hackable. Lets get one thing straight about this misconception, Lizard Squad isnt hacking PSN or Xbox Live machines. So internet commentators need to stop getting mad at Sony and MS. The hackers arent infiltrating code or manipulating Sony and MS servers. Theyre hacking into regular low security computers and telling them to populate the servers for both services creating a work load that is unmanageable. MS and Sony run pretty tight ships... one more so than the other but both are pretty solid so people should probably stop acting like Lizard Squad is skilled or that MS and Sony are incompetent. #XboxLive #PSN
