So I had a pay it forward moment happen to me today!! I had a headlight out on my car (or what I like to call, a 4513.04 ORC). So I stopped in Auto Zone on Pleasant Ave. in Fairfield to buy two bulbs (because you may as well change both, right). There was a lady in there having her battery tested because her car kept on not wanting to start, she said. She went on to say how bad of a day she was having. Being a woman, I know all about bad days from car trouble, so I felt bad for her. After the sad day yesterday, I was feeling pretty crummy & going to the doctor to have my shoulder looked at again (thats a whole other story!!!). Well, she tells the cashier she wanted to pay for my bulbs (20 something dollars & change). I insisted on her not to do so, because Im used to paying my own way & its Christmas time, she should keep her money. She proceeded to say that she was ready to break down & cry because she was so frustrated & she just felt the need to bless me by paying for my bulbs. I about started crying myself, right then!! I said, well God bless you, yesterday was my birthday & I lost a longtime dear friend to cancer yesterday so it wasnt a very good birthday. The look on the cashiers face was priceless!! I thought she & I would both break down!! So theres proof that there are still some good people out there!! Made my day!! Thanks for letting me share that!! 😘
