So I had a pretty interesting day today. I went to the place that currently has the Sugarbowl painting on display. Its hanging at a womens Yoga/fitness centre called Redefining Eve. Since its been up, it looks as though its inspired them to put up more art. As I was there, I met some awesome ladies who when I told them I was going to take the painting away, the puppydog eyes of sadness knowing that a painting that has come to mean so much to them was leaving sort of broke my heart. So...I decided to leave it with them until it sells. I met a lovely gal who mentioned that she is an Army brat and has seen Jacks Flag print everywhere at CFB Wainwright and at Edmonton Garrison. To know that my painting has had that effect on some lovely ladies at Redefining Eve means so much to me. To know that my prints have now spread across some military bases really means so much, Im so incredibly honoured. The print that you see at the top right now, is on display at 1 Combat Brigade HQ. Thank you Adam for the picture! YAY! Then I found out that I landed a new web client today, I am commencing on a new website for the Canadian Veterans leading the Class Action Law Suit against the Government of Canada, Equitas Society. I offered many times to do it for free to help them out but they are a classy group and insisted on paying. How could I not offer to help them out? I know the group, know the Veterans leading the charge and it will be a pleasure to put my art flair and help contribute to fight this epic level of injustice. It gets me into the fight. Then I have the Super Arrow X-Plane version coming by the end of the month and will finally get to take the aircraft I designed up for a flight and start producing some videos of her first flights. Then I have the first major batch of watches coming in and included in that is a watch for ISS Commander Chris Hadfield, which I will send to him along with the bird for hopefully his assessment, along with shipping out all the watches to the first customers! I really look forward to finally getting their feedback! You have no idea how excited I am to pass along these watches! I am also in the process of communicating with the Commander of the RCAF and so hopefully everything will all work out with my permissions for the use of the Heraldic Crests of each of the Squadrons. Also working on the 3d print of the bird and slowly its all coming...whew! Happy St. Patricks Day!
