So I had had a challenging afternoon. I was bringing the horses in to ride, when Sonny decided to run as fast as he could past the barn, out the front gate, down the road & Kentucky Derby over to the neighbors yard with Tag & Oscar right beside him!! ! I KNEW he was going to do that! Dang it!! I jump in the dually & hot on there tails. They take off for the woods. DANG IT (only NOT the words I were were using) I jumped out of the truck in pursuit. .like I can keep up..but I try! Cant do it. I bend over breathing! DANG IT!# OK Im beyond upset, they know it & wont come back now. I drive back home. Ill get the minibike! Thatll Fix em! Haha! I turn on the gas, push all the right buttons, pull the rope. .nothing! Pull the rope..pull the rope..pull the dang !^$^÷&$^rope!! UGH! I get back in the truck, Angus wants to ride in the back. I roll back over to the nice neighbors. Lady standing in her pristine yard giggling. Im glad she isnt upset. She Loves my horses..Thats a Good thing for them! I think they know to be good at this point. I walk over to Sonny, the main culprit, make a halter out of the lead rope, roll my truck window down & away we go. Sonny trots nice beside the truck. We get to the top of the hill to the neighbors gate & Angus decides to jump from the back of the truck, freaking out Sonny who about rips my arm out of place trying to hang on! Away they go AGAIN! ANGUS! You Are In Trouble..He sees this & runs home! I jumped out off the truck to retrieve the horses..YEA right! Back down the fence line but did turn for home! All the neighbors find this amusing! I finally get them in the barn. I have to let the girls know to Really ride them today. I reach for my phone...?? What? Not there. Gone! Lost in the pasture..After half the late afternoon of retracing every step I took while chasing crazy horses, Yep! About 20 foot where Angus jumped out, there it lay!. AWW! Life IS Good after all!
