So I had to go into the cities this afternoon for work. Conveniently I received a phone call this morning from National Camera Exchange letting me know that my camera repair was complete and I could stop by and pick it up. This was great! A saved trip. I went to my meeting for work and took a jaunt over to Maple Grove to pick up my camera. I tested the camera at the shop using one of the stores lenses and batteries. All was well so I took my camera and headed for home. I arrived home tonight to a message on my answering machine from National Camera saying could I please check my bag because they are pretty sure that they gave me a brand new camera by accident. It seems that in the swapping out of lenses and batteries they never swapped them back and put my camera on the shelf and slipped the new one into my bag. Oops! Looks like the time I saved by combining trips is now a waste. Going back to the city on Friday anyway and will have to exchange cameras then.
