So I hate to rant on Facebook, but Im going to call it a public service announcement...on the way home from the beach today, my mom and I got behind a white Chevy truck at conway Walmart. I kept smelling weed (a smell you come to know when your husband is the police and you teach school). I wasnt sure where it was coming from, but I kept my eyes on the truck. I watched this young man take several drags off of his blunt and blow smoke right out of the window. As soon as my air conditioner took it in, I was almost sick to my stomach. I was in the process of calling the police when he turned off. I was trying to get a good look at his face when I saw the unimaginable....a car seat in the back seat with a small child in it. My blood boiled as I seriously debated following him home to give him a piece of my mind. It is truly sad that people think this type of behavior is okay. And we wonder why our children are exposed to such filth today. There are so many people who would love to have a child of their own and would raise them in the right environment, but instead, people who are sorry excuses for parents are given children who they cant take care of and who put their children into these situations. If Im stepping on your toes by posting this, good. Thats exactly what I wanted to do...maybe if you are one of these people Im speaking of, you will evaluate your lifestyle. As for the guy in the Chevy truck, I got your license plate and if I ever see you again...you going to need more than a blunt to relax you! Thats all for today folks!
