So I have a bit of new news... Yes Im going to have a little SOAPBOX moment here... I went to the Dr the other day, and his office has informed me that I dont have Lupus, and that I dont have any signs of Ankylosing Spondylitis, but it is in my blood work. In his professional opinion, the only thing wrong with me, is the diabetes and fibromyalgia. Now the interpretation could have been lost in the translation thru the nurse. The phrase was all levels are within range of the lupus. So according to her, its not there. Um, wouldnt that mean it is? He took me off the Rhumetoid Arthritis meds, because I dont have that, its never shown up, AND thats the medication that caused my hair to fall out!! The major side effect of it was that, well guess what...so hes added Cymbalta for the fibromyalgia, and wants to keep me on the Lupus meds. Now why would you say that, if you dont believe Ive got it? Again, makes no sense to me. Pain Management: I went in for that nerve block shot, and it didnt work. At all. Actually it caused more pain then what I had before. BUT, Im now going in for another type of shots in my spine to help with my foot pain...oh yay! My curiosity is this, if I dont really have Lupus, why am I staying on the meds? If all I have is fibromyalgia. Why was I told the past 8yrs that Ankylosing Spondylitis was the reason for all of my spinal pain if theres no signs of it other than in my DNA? Im NOT saying that I want all of these health issues, because I dont, BUT why give me the diagnosis and say oh no thats not there!?!? I just dont understand, and honestly I feel a little lost now by all of this.
