So I have a problem that you guys can help me out with. I have an XJT and X8R combo that will not go past .35 miles in an open field (~560 meters). I am running a Turnigy 9x with the Smartieparts board, Telemetryez, FrSky XJT and a 5db antenna. The range is much worse on the stock 2db antenna. Im sure this isnt right, I should get at least a mile out of this, any ideas? Mind you this frame is a test platform, nothing is permanent and tape is my friend.
